Recovery For The Abused Woman web site was created to offer support to all abused women of domestic violence, domestically and internationally, to help them recover. It is an entity of Abused Woman Ministries, Inc. where Dr. Dorothy E. Hooks, PsyD is the Founder and CEO. 

Dr. Hooks' desire is to see women who are victimized by domestic violence set free and delivered out of the bondage of domestic violence. Dr. Hooks wants them to grow their faith in Jesus Christ so they will know God better and experience His love and grace to the fullest.

Dr. Hooks was abused also but God has totally delivered her from the effects of domestic violence and today she is walking in the Divine healing grace of Him.
